One Long Sentence

Bethany has been speaking in short sentences for a while now, but today was her longest one yet. She said, "Sit down on the floor, Daddy." Six words; pretty amazing considering she's not even two yet! I don't know where she gets it...

There is a story to go with this picture! The shirt Bethany is wearing says, "I'm independent." When I took this picture it was almost bed time. Bethany was supposed to be getting into her pajamas - hence: no pants. However, she ran out of the bedroom and wanted to do other things. First, she put on her summer bonnet. Then, she put on her sunglasses - upside down. Note the string to her hat is running in between her sunglasses. And of course, here she is doing a puzzle wondering why her crazy mom is taking a picture. She makes us laugh!
